Trent Chau

Trent Chau has been a freelance wedding, event, and portrait photographer in the Atlanta area for over 8 years. Trent loves the technical side of photography, the equipment and the techniques but he is most passionate about the humanity side of photography. He sees photography as a way to study culture, history and interaction. He enjoys the slight nuances that make individual unique. People are such a driving factor of Trent’s interest in photography that he is one of the administrators for a large local Atlanta Photography group called the Atlanta Photographers Guild.

A firm believer in furthering one’s education, Trent was self taught at photography but is now finalizing his photography degree at Gwinnett Technical College. He plans to get his masters in Fine Arts with a focus on photography and marketing afterwards. Along with school, Trent works with photography clients such as Coca-Cola, Delta, The Georgia Aquarium, Grady Memorial Hospital and one of his new favorties Dragon*Con.

Outside of photography Trent loves sports, chess, cats, traveling, cooking, not cooking cats, and spending quality time with his beloved daughter.
