Studio Photography

Join us at The Showcase School to learn the fundamentals of studio photography. This popular two-day hands-on workshop covers the following topics:

Understanding the various lighting styles
Working with basic studio equipment – strobe lights, umbrellas, softboxes, etc.
Hand-held light metering basics in a studio
Basic posing of subjects
Plenty of hands-on practice in a small group

Gain hands-on experience in creating beautiful portraits with the tools used both in and out of a studio environment.

Registered students are asked to bring their camera gear, plenty of digital memory, fresh batteries and note-taking material to the workshop.
