In this fun, information-packed seminar, professional photographer Jeff Roffman will walk you through the details of a day in one of the most challenging and rewarding areas of photography.  In addition he will share considerations for planning, marketing and much more.

Before the wedding

• Where to start
• Marketing yourself and finding clients
• Creating packages and pricing yourself
• Initial client contact — “the sales meeting”
• Advance planning with the bride and groom
• Working with a wedding planner/coordinator
• Working the wedding
• What to wear
• The must have shots that most brides expect
• Tips on the most difficult shots
• Mastering the group photo and coordinating the day’s participants
• Natural vs. Artificial Light
• Using Flash unobtrusively throughout the day

After the wedding

• Basic post-production workflow
• Shooting in RAW
• Basic Post-Production in Lightroom
• Using Photoshop in your wedding editing
• Post event products and sales

This is a seminar and students will be asked to bring note-taking material to the class.
