Adobe Photoshop Elements 10
We are pleased to offer you this informative class in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10® for PC and MAC users – a powerful image-editing program for the amateur photographer.
Elements allows you to optimize and print your photographs with ease. From scratch, you will learn the techniques every digital photographer needs to know to edit their images. Each student will have his/her own computer station to practice during class. A workbook will be used in class. The workbook also includes exercises designed to improve your skills outside of class.
Class topics include:
- Navigating your way around Elements. An introduction to the Photoshop tools and the “one-click” photo fixes.
- Digital workflow
- Making adjustments to color, exposure contrast, cropping and more to create perfect prints
- An introduction to working with layers and selections – in order to achieve optimum results and truly fine-tune your images.
- Hands-on workflow – instructor guided processing of your own images
Our digital darkroom is equipped with 6 personal computers and 2 MAC computers. When you register, please tell us if you plan to use one of our computers or if you prefer to bring your own laptop.

Prerequisite: Basic computer skills are a must.
